Our Doctrinal Beliefs
2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe the Holy Bible to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
Matthew 28:19
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1, Colossians 1:15-19
We believe that God has always existed, and that God created all things in the beginning, and we reject all unbiblical ideas or theories that contradict the Biblical account of creation.
1 Timothy 3:16
We believe in the deity and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Corinthians 15:3-4
We believe in Jesus Christ’s substitutionary and sacrificial death for our sins in our place, through His shed blood on the Cross of Calvary, and His bodily resurrection from the dead on the third day.
Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:13-17
We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ’s return in power and in glory.
Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-10
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone, and there is nothing we can do to earn our salvation, it is a free gift of God, purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ, when we repent of our sins and place our faith and trust in Jesus alone for our salvation.
John 14:1-6, Revelation 20:11-15
We believe that there is an eternal Heaven prepared for all born again saved believers and an eternal Hell prepared for all those who reject Jesus Christ as Savior.
Acts 8:35-38, Acts 2:42, I Corinthians 11:23-34
We believe there are two ordinances to be practiced by believers in the local church: Believer’s water baptism by immersion (if physically able) and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism comes after salvation and is an outward demonstration of an inner change that has already occurred within the believer at salvation. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of the supreme sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sins to purchase our redemption.
Romans 12:1-2, I John 1:6-9, II Corinthians 6:14-7:1, Hebrews 10:25
We believe that as Christians we are to live a life of commitment to our Lord, separation from the world in holiness unto the Lord, stay in fellowship with the Lord, fellowship with other believers each Lord’s day (Sunday) if possible, and throughout the week, and continue being transformed into the image of Christ through sanctification.
Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the entire world and to disciple people of every nation. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total commitment to “Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.”
